One Cat, One House… Yours?

This week, another cat is looking for a home. Almita, Spanish for Little Soul, is a kitty that has had three foster homes so far and is looking for a permanent place to stay. Almita, cat looking for a home. Adopt a cat!

Almita is a beautiful white cat, rescued from sure-death as a baby on the street. She is spayed and has had all her shots… she is in great health. She is a loving and affectionate cat… but has just had the bad luck to be picked up by someone who doesn’t live in Merida and can’t bring her home. Her current foster mom loves her too, but she’s young, she wants to travel and she cannot continue with the responsibility of a pet.

Here’s what her current foster mom says:

"She’s a really nice cat, she does have some issues (but all pets do, right? haha).. for example, she doesn’t like to eat alone in the kitchen; I have to be in the kitchen either doing something or just keeping her company. I think you were told she’s an indoor cat, but that has really changed recently. She likes being outdoors, both during the day and the night, and she’s not THAT afraid of other cats anymore…she doesn’t like being around them, but she doesn’t freak out. Other than that she’s really sweet, and loves it when there are a lAlmita, adopt a cat in Meridaot of people around. She’s very friendly."

If you are looking for a cat but don’t want to go through the hassles of a kitten, consider Almita! She will make a lovely companion who doesn’t require other pets to be happy… just you, some food and a place of her own.

If you’d like to meet her or adopt her, please contact Viv at her cel phone 999-180-0761 or in email vivichef [at] hotmail [dot] com. Or email Karen at KarenFerguson [at] compuserve [dot] com

One Response to “One Cat, One House… Yours?”

  1. Yucatan Living Gringos,
Thank you sooo much for putting up information on Almita and thereby helping her and us [me and Viv] find her a good home.

She did find a good home with a wonderful couple in the ‘burbs. She’s living like a little princess.

I found foster homes for this kitten that turned-into-a-cat for two years until we were lucky enough to be featured on YL. She was adopted quickly.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart!!
On to the next cat that needs a home….or dog! Adore them both.

    Abrasitos!
    Karen
