Sonia Braga stars in the award-winning Brazilian drama Aquarius (2016), the story of a 65-year-old widow who is the last resident at The Aquarius, an apartment building built in the 1940s, and which is now slated for demolition. Clara has pledged to vacate the building only upon her death, and the ensuing cold war between her and the developer creates a tension that gets her thinking about her life, her loved ones, her past and her future.
