Jose Antonio Aguilar (born August 7, 1968 in Sinaloa Mexico) better known as Pepe Aguilar, is an American-born Mexican singer-songwriter and actor, who works in ranchera, mariachi and pop genres. He is the son of music and film stars Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre (Guillermina Jiménez). His trayectory includes 23 cd's,six time Grammy winner with nine nominations, with more than 25 years of trayectory and 23 recorded albums. Also, he is one of the most recognized and awarded latino artists from his generation. Aguilar has won four Grammy Award and five Latin Grammy Awards.
