Great job Kitty,

Have you thought of contacting international companies, such "Coca Cola", and other big companies who are in Latin America, as well as in Canada and USA, they might have funds for programs such as yours who help children with their education. Love to buy a cooking book to support. Just tell me how to go about in buying it. Gracias for doing this lovely work for these children. It is amazing what a group of people can do when they are determined. Suerte.

The Apoyo program is going strong and has grown. The key to it, of course, is the follow up, the incredible organization and the strict rules. Some children do drop out, but mostly the children keep up their grades and graduate. Yucatan Living sponsors a young man who is entering the ninth grade and are very encouraged to see his progress.

How are thing going on your project? Are you still doing it? It is a great thing you have done. I am leaving Jan 12 for my 26th year of distributing school supplies to the Mayan children in Yucatan. I have taken over 30,000 individual packets to the children. I also take books in Spanish to the children, paper, soccer balls and shoes. I have had some success in getting 7, 8, 9th schools in the area. Slow ordeal. Just wanted to say hi to you and good luck.
