Wow!!! What a fantastic vignette! As a Red Sox fan who manages to catch a few games a season at Fenway, I really enjoyed your story. But, alas, here it has become really really big business with tickets at $75, beers at $5.00, and only a very limited range of junk food for very high prices. Sounds like baseball in the Yucatan is more like it was here in days gone by.

Thanks for the slice of life.

Cheers,

The baseball team of N. Texas is the Texas Rangers. Not a very good team. :-(
My favorite team is the Houston Astros.
Working Yucateca, my wife, says to wipe the area of the Bolis you are going to eat from.
Working Gringa...I'll take some of those Habenero peppers on my Hot Dog. :-)
I always buy the El Yucateco habenero sauce here at the store.
