Besides, when was appliance repair cheap? At the end of the day, don't we all want to be as generous to our families as we can be? For me that's the engine of an entrepreneurs spirit and drive. They installed four <em>ignitores</em>,at least 70 pesos each... that's 280 pesos for parts. Compare that with a plumber. Gas can do much more damage than water. Prices for goods were not drastically lower than the states as they once were. But the wages are still terrible for most Mexican workers, as you pointed out. I say, "Good job!" to the entrepeneurs for raking in a decent wage. If they learn how to be punctual, then they deserve it all the more.
