Good evening from the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. This story is just the sort that I like to read, as these are the types of experiences I like to have when visiting a foreign country.

Since I discovered your web page a couple of weeks back, it has brought such joy at the end of a long day. I first visited QR and the Yucatan in the mid 80s, and my what changes have happened in the last twenty years! The modernization, improvemnts in all sorts of services, highways!!! and, of course the Internet allowing great communication, are wonderful. I just hope that the local folk feel the same and not too overrun by outside influences.

Thanks agin for the time and effort that you put into this web site. Blessings, happiness, and continued success to you both
