FANTASTIC. This project was so much in tune with what Obama believes about working together. I liked the fact that you sanded and painted, and that the computer will be repaired.

Congrats. I would love to participate in the future, in spite of being very involved in Merida Verde. Keep me on the mailing list.

[...] And all we ask is a donation. Send us a donation through Paypal of at least $3.00 (to cover postage and handling) and we will send you one of these commemorative posters while supplies last (be sure to include your address!). If you want to donate more, every penny over and above the stamp and the envelope will go to our next project, which you can learn about here in the pages of Yucatan Living, and which will probably again be related to children and reading here in Merida Centro.
What a wonderful group of expats! I so enjoyed hearing about this community outreach project during this historic week of the inauguration of our 44th President Obama! The importance of education is and should be a priority for every child!
