Google Books has a preview of a book called "Maya missions: exploring colonial Yucatan" By Richard D. Perry. It predates the reconstruction and has some interesting information as well as some ink drawings of the church.

I first visited the Yucatan in 1978 and have returned perhaps 40 times over the years. Recently my wife and I bought a home in Valladolid and were introduced to Yucatan Living. We love your website and cannot wait to explore all of the neat places and events that you write about. I am especially impressed by the photography in your articles and was curious as to what type of camera you are using. The quality of the photos suggests both an excellent camera and a talented photographer. Thank you for continuing to educate us regarding our chosen place of retirement.
