They supposedly allow daily use for a small charge, even for those who are not hotel guests. P.S. I get all the health and fitness I need walking along the narrow sidewalks, jumping away from buses, leaping over water puddles and carrying things about. Daily life is a lot of exercise for many Yucatecans, so gyms are not needed for everyone. However, there's been an influx of Huaches and gringos who could use some exercise.... ;-) and… many gringos (and others) like the Hyatt gym across from Fiesta Americana.
