MapQuest ( www.mapquest.com ) now has street maps of Merida!

Google Maps ( maps.google.com ) still doesn't have street names, but they've got nice satellite images.

For MapQuest: Just click on the link for "Maps Outside the US and Canada," choose "International Maps," set the country to "Mexico," and "Merida" for the city. You can zoom right in to see every street name. At a medium zoom, you can even see the names of most colonias y fraccionamientos. No actual addresses, though, but still pretty darned good.

These maps: http://www.mapa-mexico.com.mx/merida.htm are the best I have seen of Merida. You can open them as pdf files and zoom right down to the names of the different areas of the city. The big map doesn't give you all of the street names and numbers, but enough so that you can find your way. The smaller ones do have street numbers. If anyone knows of a better map, please let us know.

Thanks for the municipal map.Good job.
It is any map you can publish about the barrios of Merida? We always look for houses or apartments in Merida, and the names of barrios the reals estate mentioned are hard to find. We excluded houses of Chuburna wrongly beleving Chuburna was on the coast, but them we found that name, many times, inside Merida. Thanks

Thanks so much for the municipalities map! We now have one in the casa and one in the car. It's an extra boost in our explorations of our new "state of mine," the Yucatan! How grateful we are again in this New Year to be permitted to live here!

Happy Birthday, Merida!
