Merida Events: Symphony & Red Dress Run

7 September 2015 Events 0

This week, you might notice people getting ready for a big celebration on September 16, Mexican Independence Day. You'll certainly notice a lot of flags for sale!

Also this week, the Yucatan Symphony Orchestra begins it's fall program. And Merida's Hash House Harriers continue the global tradition of the Red Dress Run, with all proceeds going to charity. There are a number of fascinating movies being shown... lots of chances to practice your Spanish, and maybe even learn a little Arabic! The Merida English Library also hosts another fabulous wine-tasting event in a private home somewhere in Merida... get your tickets and enjoy the event!

As always in Yucatan, events are sometimes announced the day before they happen. We are always adding to this page when we find something else going on this week, and of course, all events can be found in the Calendar of Events. If you know of an upcoming event you want us to feature, let us know at info@yucatanliving.com!
