Merida Events: Love is in the Air!

This Week… starting February 14, 2011

This week marks the beginning of the calm before Carnival in Yucatan. There are only two weeks left before Carnival will be in full swing. There are still events every day and night, but just not as many because its time to cook, clean, sew costumes, and host the house parties that lead up to the beginning of the parades and then the beginning of the Lenten season.

Municipal Fiestas This Week

Yucatan LivingThere are no municipal festivals or fiestas beginning this week in Yucatan. However, this week, there are two expat events (Merida Men’s Club and MELLO Nights), so don’t forget to check Yucatan Living’s Ongoing Events page to keep up with these and other important events.
