The weather for the next four or five months here is perfect! For a cheap, clean and safe place to stay, we would recommend either <a href="http://www.lasarecas.com" rel="nofollow">Las Arecas B&B</a> or <a href="http://www.luzenyucatan.com" rel="nofollow">Luz En Yucatan</a>. You can get a room at either place for under $45 US per night, they are both downtown, clean and safe. At Las Arecas, you will also get an American breakfast. Enjoy your trip!
