Service and food are fine. A wonderful old building. For us, it is more about the atmosphere when dining in this nice restaurant. I don't remember raving about any particular plates -- mostly local Yucatecan dishes -- but there's never been anything at all to complain about. The view from the balcony is exciting and adds to the ambiance of life in Merida. That summer we feasted at the Amara Vegitarian, just the around the corner on 59th, and also the Continental on the corner of 64th/ or 66th? We have been back to each many many times. We will be returning to Merida next month and look forward to planning retirement in the near futur. We do enjoy reading the Yucatan Living and making notes for next visit.
