It is heartbreaking to watch these brave little horses working all day on the scalding pavement and in the full sun. I try to provide a little rest stop for them with a bucket of water whenever one goes down my street. If you offer the driver a drink of water AND provide a bucket of water for the horse too, the driver will usually stop for a bit at least we can keep the horses hydrated.
Dehydration in horses can lead to numerous illness, most commonly founder, and even death.
Also, thanks so much for notifying us all of the lost Cocker Spanial.
