According to Mayaland's own webpage, the one-way transfer to Chichen Itza from Merida is $38 US.
You can make a reservation here:

I am looking for transport from either Cancun or Merida airport to the Mayaland. I contacted Mayaland and other shuttles but they are all $275.00 one way. Is there no other way to get to mayaland?

thanks, Anne

Definetly a good idea. I do know that but, had thought of everything but that. We have been so wrapped up in the opening of the new terminal here in Cancun and have not thought of ASUR for anything beyond that. Thank you for reminding me! I really love this site I had no idea that it was here but, stumbled upon it by doing a search for Chichen Itza International Airport and pulling up this article. I will definetly become a very dedicated reader. Thank you again everybody for the suggestions and help!

Our resident flyer suggests that you call ASUR for the information you're seeking. As you may already know, they administer all the public airports in the southwest of Mexico. Their number in Cancun is: 848-7200

I actually think I may have something. I am working with a guy from Mayaland that has there hotel etc. there in Chichen Itza and he mentioned a name of another airport that is 20min away that would be an option. I know I have been looking on the net and getting increasingly fustrated. I did she the part about it being open in August and my group is for Feb 2008 so that may still be an option. Thank you so very much for your help.
