Looks like your Governer has visited the GCEH Jatropha Enery Farms there; maybe you could do a follow-up.

June 29, 2008, Yucatan, in the route toward the biodiesel

Yucatan would be leader in the biodiesel production.

Merida will be the headquarters of a meeting of 3 thousand investigators.

Yucatan will become shortly in the tip of national lance for the biodiesel production, due to the strong interest of three companies in sowing hundred of hectares of the plant Jatropha curcas or sikilté, said doctor Pedro Brajcich Gallegos, general director of the National Institute of Forest, Agricultural and Cattle Investigations (Inifap).

The official also informed that Merida will be headquarters of an international meeting to which 3,000 investigators of 16 countries of America will attend.

“At the moment in Mexico there are being explored options to produce two biofuels: the ethanol and the biodiesel. In the case of Yucatan and the Peninsula, the option is the biodiesel, for the strong interest of three companies, two local and a national one that already have sown fields for its investigation”, Brajcich Gallegos detailed.

He explained that there is great world interest in producing biofuels, because of the high prices of the petroleum, whose production will stay 10 years more, according to calculations of the Inifap.

As we already inform, one of the local managers interested in the production of the biofuel, whose project is already in progress with the sowing of 2,000 hectares of Jatropa curcas in Colony Yucatan, is Emilio Loret de Mola.

Merida will also be headquarters on next November of an event, that will gather for the first time the III National Meeting of Agricultural and Forest Innovation and the XLIV National Meeting of Cattle Investigation. It will have the support of the State government, Sagarpa and Conacyt. The coordinating host will be the Fundación Produce Yucatán.

''Global Clean Energy Holdings LLC (www.GCEHoldings.com) it has signed a development agreement with Corporativo LODEMO S.A DE CV(LODEMO), a well known Mexican
Corporation, to develop and operate a number of large commercial scale Jatropha farms throughout Mexico. The first farm is in development and is expected to generate revenue for MDI/Global from commercial off-take sales during 2008. ''

It would be nice to see this start - It'd help everyone.

Khaki, sorry I misspelt your name in my earlier post - I'm a Scott also.
I'm an investor in GCEH and very interested in any new developments you may hear of on GCE Mexico's progress on their Jatropha efforts in the yukatan. Are you aware of other places I could get info. The company is being hush-hush.

Thanks you your efforts.

Respectfully,

Tim
