I have followed your website overthe last 3 winters, we are close to departure after our second stay of 5 weeks in the yucatan again this year. The current article on the annual dog exterminaton is heartbreaking, though I think it may be a necessary evil to end the suffering of numerous animals that are in this region. We did our part this year by taking a young female that showed up at our rental into Planned Pethood in Merida. We covered the cost of having her examined, spayed and all shots, and then hopefully placed into a loving home. The visuals of seeing all these animals is too much for me, and will weigh into my decision to ever visit the yucatan in the future.

does anyone know what is being set up on calle 60 near liverpool? is it a circus or some other type of performance? we would be intereste in attending before we leave the yucatan. thank you.
