Obviously, there are some roads and boulevards you should not consider. But out in the countryside, the options are enormous. Also, along the beach. There are also quite a few good gyms... go to the YES website (www.yucatanyes.com) and download the Healthcare Guide for a complete list, with addresses and descriptions. The Mayans were called 'caminantes', you know, because they walked everywhere. We think it is safe to assume that some of them were fond of running also. Probably the best place for your daughter to run is either the Salvador Alvarado sports park or the Kukulcan Sport Park (not on this list). Kukulcan is located next to the Kukulcan Stadium and any of her fellow students can tell her where it is and how to get there.
