Here are three extremely economical apartments in the Santa Lucia district in the centro historico… just three blocks from the Plaza Grande. There is one studio apartment and two one-bedroom apartment, both clean, air-conditioned, completely furnished and reasonably priced.

The location couldn’t be better… both apartments are located in the middle of the historical center of Merida, just steps from museums, restaurants, churches, shopping, events, concerts and the famous Sunday market in the Plaza, Merida en Domingo.

The One Bedroom Apartment

The spacious one-bedroom apartment (868 sq. ft.) has two stories, connected by a lovely tiled staircase, and can comfortably sleep two people.

The living area downstairs is bright and airy, with a cool tile floor, two sofas that double as beds and windows that open to the street. Downstairs also has the kitchen, with a stove, and refrigerator, as well as kitchen utensils, dishes and everything you need to eat in when you don’t feel like going out on the town. Downstairs there is also a bathroom with shower.

Upstairs, the bedroom features a cama matrimonial (double bed), a television with DVD player and cable, an air conditioner and a private bathroom with shower. The room is separated from the two-story-tall living room by lovely French doors.

There are ceiling fans throughout and the apartment is set up with wireless internet and a security safe for your valuables.

The one bedroom apartment can sleep two people and children over 12 years of age are welcome, but please note that the apartment is not child-proofed.

The One Bedroom Apartment with Patio

This full-size charming apartment in the heart of the historic center in Merida offers one bedroom with an indoor patio at 1000 square foot.  It sleeps one or two persons comfortable. The very spacious living room has a sofa bed for guest view of the interior patio.

In the bedroom you can enjoy a full size bed, ceiling fan and air conditioner, as well as a Cable TV and DVD. Bedroom is also equipped with and armoire with safe deposit box to leave your valuables while in the city. The bathroom as a view to the interior patio.

The Mexican Style kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals and a dining room to enjoy your Mexican meals. This Apartment also has an ample laundry room with washer and dryer.

The Studio Apartment

The first-floor furnished studio features a double bed (cama matrimonial), ceiling fan, table and chairs, TV with cable, and a kitchenette with a counter-top stove and small refrigerator. There is a private bath, of course, and the studio has its own private entrance.

The studio apartment, at 266 square feet, is appropriate for one or two people. It, too, is not child-proofed for small children, and also provides wireless internet services and a security safe for valuables.

Additional person is $10.00 USD per night

Low Season  ( From April 1 to October 31)

$250.00 USD per week and $700.00 USD per month
Additional person is $10.00  per night

The apartments will include water, cable, wireless internet and cleaning every 2 weeks
