Located just a few short blocks from Paseo de Montejo and both Santiago and Santa Ana parks, Casa Colibrí is a perfect vacation home for visitors who want to feel at home in Merida. Whether you are renting Casa Colibrí for a few days or for a season, you will spend your time here feeling at home… and being close to everything you want to see: restaurants, parks, shopping, museums, galleries (there are two on the same block!) and much more.
Beautifully Restored
Casa Colibrí is an exquisitly restored colonial home. All the original doors and pasta tiles are still there, and everything has been updated and modernized. Bathrooms are streamlined and filled with light and air. Bedrooms are very spacious with comfortable king-sized beds, 100% cotton sheets and air conditioning. The downstairs bedroom has access to its own private garden, while the upstairs master bedroom has an outdoor terrace and a view down into the backyard. There’s a third bedroom with a sofa bed that also has its own bathroom.

Everywhere you look in this beautiful vacation rental, there are places to sit and relax, to enjoy the beautiful home and the tropical garden surrounding you.
Downstairs the kitchen has all the modern amenities without sacrificing charm. The entrance foyer leads to a spacious tiled dining room, with large French doors that open onto the back covered patio. You can sit in the shade on the patio, or enjoy the sunshine in the backyard by the filtered swimming pool. The pool and garden are lit at night, and what could be better than a late-night swim after a long day at the ruins of Chichen Itza or Uxmal?
The Location Can’t Be Beat
When you’re on vacation, location is so important. You don’t want to waste a minute in a car or a bus if you don’t have to! Casa Colibrí is just two blocks from Santiago Park, one of Merida’s oldest and most enjoyable parks. Every Tuesday night at Santiago, a local big band plays music from the Big Band era in the Yucatan, and the local residents come out to hear them play and dance under the stars.
Another five blocks walk, and you are at the center of town, the Plaza Grande. From there you can enjoy the restaurants, museums, shopping and sightseeing that is making Merida a favorite destination for travelers to Mexico.

Low Season (April 1 to October 31) $150 Usd per night, $790 USd per week, $2,280 USd per month..
High Season (November 1 to March 31) $175 Usd per night, $918 per week, $2,660 Usd per month.
Holiday Season $200 Usd per night, $1,050 per week..
Holiday rates apply to Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years, including 1 week before and 1 week following the holiday.
Reservations: 3 nights stay minimum.We discourage children under the age of 12, as the pool is very open and could be a safety hazard. Smoking is not permitted in Casa Colibrí. This vacation rental can sleep six (6) adults comfortably.
