Urbano Rentals

For the best vacation homes and haciendas in Merida
and the Yucatan

At Urbano Rentals they offer a fine selection of town
homes in Merida and country estates and haciendas
nearby. John’s experience in fashion and antiques in
Paris combined with Josh’s experience in art and
design from New York enabled them to create a list of
properties that feature the homes designed by the best
architects and designers working in the Yucatan.

TRAVEL+LEISURE magazine named them the "go to" people
in Merida when David Keeps said "Powell is the best
enabler a shopaholic could ever hope to find!"

Colonial and Modern Rentals

If you are vacationing in Merida and would rather feel
like an insider than a tourist you should consider
renting one of their elegant and comfortable homes in
the Historic Center of Merida. Urbano Rentals has
various styles and sized houses to chose from all in
choice locations. You can rent a furnished colonial
like Villa Santa Ana that surrounds you with ambiance
of this historical city while still affording you all
the modern comforts. You can try one of their recent
renovations in Merida, like El Portico del Candelaria
which combines an antique colonial home with a modern
sleek addition. Or rent a hacienda just outside the
city for something completely different and totally
relaxing.

If you are here for a longer visit spend a
few days in a colonial home in Merida and the rest of
your time exploring the Mayan ruins and Spanish
convents from your own hacienda nearby. If you’re
considering buying a house in Merida, while shopping
for real estate it’s a great experience to stay in a
home that is both inspiring and luxurious.

Josh and John even have a few houses for sale.

Insightful Blogs

Their busy schedules renovating and decorating no
longer allow them to give tours, so John started a
blog. Their website and blogs are a great source of
information about the Best of Yucatan. Check out their
main blog for links and insight into where to eat,
what to buy and what to read to make your vacation the
best it can be.

Each property comes with it’s own blog, where they
publish additional photographs and share thier insight
about each particular home. For example, here’s their
blog about the Casa Ermita, the first house that they
renovated here in Merida. Casa Ermita is a lovely
rental in one of the oldest and most well-preserved
neighborhoods in Merida. The blog tells you more about
the kitchen, some of the construction techniques they
used and what they love about the property.

For more details, more photos and a lot more
information on each of our special properties, please
see their website!

Prices are unique to each property, of course.

$150 per night for the Casa Ermita in the summer up to
