This renovated colonial in the centro historico of Merida Yucatan is both spacious and modern, while still retaining it’s historic beauty.

The lovely mosaico tiled floors are updated with polished cement to bring out the colors and designs of the traditional tiles. The original arches form a division between the living and dining areas that adds beauty but doesn’t detract from the airiness of the space. In the dining area, an extra added attraction is the floor-to-ceiling stone wall that has been turned into a fountain… a unique way of bringing the outdoors inside.

Amenities

Casa Destino includes a downstairs bedroom with a queen bed and private bath, as well as a private entrance to the garden and pool area. The living room, dining room, reading area and kitchen are all downstairs, forming a spacious cool retreat for all the house residents that can be shared.

Upstairs, the master bedroom and master bath form a private suite that has both an outdoor balcony overlooking the pool and a private cactus garden adjoining the bathroom and oversized shower.

The full and open kitchen provides the center of the house with all the amenities needed, while also providing access to an outdoor dining area and the swimming pool

• Rent includes shuttle from the airport, pool maintenance, and housekeeping once weekly.
• The rental is appropriate for 4 people.
• Pets will require a pet deposit.
• Due to the open pool, non-pool safe children are discouraged.
• Smoking outside only
• Security deposit is $400 US.  
• Monthly rentals will require larger deposit (covered in rental agreement). The deposit will be returned within 5 business days, minus the electricity bill for the duration of the stay and minus fees for any property damage which may have occurred.
• 50% of rental deposit due with 5 days of the confirmation of the dates of the stay.  The remaining 50% balance is due 3 weeks prior to the arrival.  
• The cancellation refund policy will be included in the rental agreement.
