Casa Taurus Vacation Rental in Merida Yucatan Mexico offers its guests an atmosphere of creative energy. The owner has accessorized each of the six spacious rooms with paintings, pottery, and folk art from the area. Most of the furniture reflects the creative and bountiful talent of local Yucatan artisans.

There are two air-conditioned bedrooms that share a full bath.  A third rear bedroom has its own connected bathroom.  The rear bedroom has cross ventalation as well, with two walls of windows looking out into the breeze-filled garden.

A Place To Relax

All rooms have overhead fans.. These colorful spaces of yellows, orange, and purple have three doors opening into the charming and luscious garden with plants that grow like "Jack and the Beanstalk".  One of the wonderful aspects of living in Merida is the ability to live outdoors. Casa Taurus offers a number of outdoor living opportunities, including a morning breakfast patio just outside the kitchen, a rear terrace covered with old world roof tiles that is seductively furnished with comfortable seating for reading or visiting.  And for sunbathing and moon gazing, there is the rooftop terrace.

Location

Casa Taurus couldn’t be in a better location! Behind the colonial facade, you’ll find yourself in a private and quiet colorful retreat. Step outside, and you are just two blocks from Calle 60, the main avenue in the Centro Historico, and just four blocks from the zocalo, the center of town. Restaurants, shopping, museums, events and more are just a stroll away from the front door of this charming vacation rental.

And it’s really easy to take a public bus to the beach in Progreso. The bus stop is at Calle 64 and Calle 57, just steps away from the front door, and the bus ride costs less than $2.00 USD.

Prices

Casa Taurus rental prices:

$500 USD per week (except December)

$1000 USD for one month (except December)

$600 USD per week (December)

$1200 USD for one month (December)

Prices include housecleaning and gardening once per month. Additional visits can be arranged and paid for separately.

Price does not include phone, electricity or water.

Deposit required. Amount dependent on duration of rental.

Casa Taurus is available April through December. Not available in March.
